On The Electrical Show this week, Thomas Nagy and Paul Meenan chat about challenging nature of the electrical industry, especially when scaling a business or progressing through the trade. Paul says the trade tests him in "many and multiple ways". He keeps up to date with the industry and is on top of his game by spending hours in the library reading industry-specific literature. "It's the only way of surviving in the electrical industry." Thomas adds: "We are evolving at such a speed in tech, it is hard to keep up to date with the latest changes." When it comes to skills, Paul believes everyone should be open to having their work criticised which then fosters room for growth. Thomas also touched on how the trade tests resolve and integrity of a person and cultures that negatively impact tradespeople. They both agree that content that is put on social media needs to be verified as a lot of it isn't factual. Listen to the podcast here.
