At Fix Radio, we know that behind every successful trade business is more than just skill and hard work — it’s family.
From builders and plumbers to electricians and decorators, family-run trade businesses are the heartbeat of Britain’s economy. But with rising costs, tighter deadlines, and limited time for growth, many are feeling the pressure.
That’s why we've partnered with Citroën to launch the Citroën Trade Families initiative — dedicated to supporting the families behind the tools.
Hands-on training opportunities

Let’s give them the tools they need to thrive.
Citroen – For every work family. For every trade family
Eligibility
Nominations are open to family-run trade businesses operating within the UK. A family-run trade business is defined as a business where two or more family members actively work in the business on a regular basis.
Who can nominate
Nominations may be submitted by a member of the trade family business or by someone outside the business who wishes to put them forward.
Use of support
Selected trade families may receive support to the value of up to £1,000. This support will be agreed upon jointly with Fix Radio and Citroën and may include training courses, tools, software, branded workwear, or other business-related items deemed appropriate.
Selection process
All nominations will be reviewed by Fix Radio and Citroën. A shortlist will be contacted for further details, and selected families may be asked to participate in interviews to help determine final recipients.
Media participation
Trade families selected for support must be willing to participate in promotional activity related to the initiative. This includes but is not limited to:
Sharing of business name, family member names, and location
Participation in audio and video content for use by Fix Radio and Citroën
Public updates on how the support has made a difference to the business
