Toolstation, part of Travis Perkins, has now made its rapid delivery service available via its app. The Fast Track delivery service allows customers to choose from over 10,000 products and deliver them directly to the site or their home address in 30 minutes. Unlike other quick delivery services that depend on bikes and cars for small items, Fast Track accommodates a much broader selection of products. The service can deliver larger items, accommodating up to 1,000kg in weight and dimensions of up to 3m in length with vehicles up to various van types and sizes. The service is ideal for busy trade customers working on the job and is designed to save time and help trades stay focused on the job. ‘Fast Track’ is powered by TradeKart, the UK’s fastest-growing trade marketplace, which acts as the conduit between tradespeople and merchants. The deliveries are fulfilled via TradeKart’s delivery network of over 150,000 drivers throughout the UK, using partners such as Uber, Gophr, and City Sprint. Customers simply place their order on the Toolstation app and can then track it from store to door in real time. The delivery fee is £4.99. Toolstation’s customer director, Chris Other, said: “Time is money for our customers, and Fast Track can make a real difference in their day-to-day work. Having access to over 10,000 products in as little as 30 minutes means they don’t have to sit ages in traffic to pick up an item, and they can order from over 480 stores. As well as delivering big and bulky items, the service has become even more convenient and is now available to the customers who use our app.”
