As the new year unfolds, the spotlight turns to the next generation of budding electricians with the upcoming regional heats of SPARKS Learner of the Year 2024, starting next week. Throughout January and February, SPARKS will be travelling to six regions across the UK in search of the best upcoming talent within our industry. At each venue, 12 students will battle it out in a live practical test. Six regional winners will be chosen to go through to the Grand Final, taking place at Schneider Electric’s Innovation Centre on 24th & 25th April. Reflecting on his win, last year’s winner Nathan Pawsey from Cambridge Regional College said: “I’m very proud of what I have managed to achieve. It’s been an amazing opportunity”. Now in its fourteenth year, the competition provides a fantastic platform for apprentice and student electricians to showcase their skills, boost their confidence and win an array of prizes to support them at the very start of their careers. 2024 Regional Heats Schedule:
