Regional winners proceed to SPARKS Learner of the Year final

The regional heats for the SPARKS Learner of the Year competition have ended with winners emerging across six regions, ECN reported. The talented regional winners will go on to compete in the grand final, which will be held at the Schneider Electric Innovation Hub in Coventry, on 24 and 25 April 2024. The six semi-finalists are: Regional runners-up in the competition include Curtis Newell, Jared McCarthy, Nathan Cooper, Hari Hussain, James Barnby and Harry Withrington. Throughout January and February, SPARKS travelled to six regions across the UK in search of the best upcoming talent in the electrical sector. At each venue, 12 students battled it out in a live practical test.
