A baby fox was saved from a drainpipe by plumbers after cameras revealed he was trapped two feet underground, Gloucestershire Live reported. The dirty young pup was first discovered by a homeowner in Manchester who heard his desperate barks from inside their property’s cellar. They called in the local group Fox Rescuers, who confirmed the little mammal was trapped inside their four-inch-wide (10cm) wastewater pipe. The team first tried to use a grasper to bring him out and later left food for the pup, but he refused to eat. The RSPCA and plumbing firm Quick Drains were contacted for assistance, they used a specialist camera to check that the pup was still alive and well. The team then dug a hole and took out the pipe, with the permission of the homeowner, and after a lot of hard work, the mucky fox was finally freed.
