Nominations are now open for Fix Radio’s Tradesperson of the Year 2022. The builders radio station is searching for talented tradespeople across 12 categories covering all major trades. Successful nominations must be able to showcase their outstanding work and demonstrate consistent business excellence. Nominations close on 31st March. Shortlisted nominees will be brought together for an awards event at UK Construction Week in London at the start of May. The initial Fix Radio Tradesperson of the Year was held in 2019 and has since been on hiatus due to COVID. The intervening last two years have been for many tradespeople some of the busiest in living memory. “Now seems the right time to bring the industry together, network and celebrate some of the unbelievable talent in our trades,” said Greg Wilson, head of content, Fix Radio. “We are looking for talented tradespeople who can showcase their excellent work and share their passion and expertise for their respective industry. We aim to celebrate the very best the construction trades have to offer,” he added. The 2022 edition of the awards, aim to celebrate individual excellence – whether they are solo tradesperson or individuals working for contractors, builders or repair and maintenance firms.
