The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) is opening the doors at its National Construction College (NCC) in Inchinnan, Scotland, to Scottish construction employers for a one-day-only event that showcases the next generation of talent and training in the trades. The event will allow employers to learn how NCC is shaping Scotland’s future workforce. Employers will also receive hands-on support to understand the grants and funding available to reduce any financial burden on training or apprenticeships. The open day will showcase NCC’s capabilities in scaffolding apprenticeships, promote the access sector, and give insight into the role's importance in construction. The access sector is at the forefront of site safety and commercial training, giving employers a hands-on look at how the next generation is being prepared for Scotland’s construction challenge while showing the NCC’s training capabilities to industry professionals.
