'Those who fail to prepare, prepare to fail' is a saying painters and decorators live by. Joel Bardall and Todd Von Joel on this week's Painting & Decorating Show discuss the importance of prep work and share their top tips. The pair are joined on the show by Gary Burton, who has completed some impressive work on historic properties. "I always make an effort to explain the relevance and cost of prep to customers. If a job is prepared correctly, it lasts longer," he explains. Todd says he prefers prep work to painting. "It feels more creative and skilful." Listen to the full episode here.
