Fix Radio builds ties with audience with Makita drill giveaway

A Makita Drill Set Giveaway on Fix Radio’s Instagram channel delivered a massive leap in user engagement and comments in May. The Builders Station gave away three Makita drill sets worth over £220 each, over the course of two weeks. To enter the competition users had to significantly engage with the post. The post generated 94,000 impressions, added 2,166 high quality Instagram followers to our account and generated over 7,500 comments. “We’re doing something for our community by giving away prizes that our demographic is genuinely interested in,” said Sam Ridgway, head of digital, Fix Radio. “The competition highlights our highly engaged audience on our Instagram channel. We’re planning on hosting similar competitions as we move forward,” he added.
