Charlie Mullins, the UK’s richest plumber, launched a scathing attack on London Mayor Sadiq Khan this week.

The former owner of Pimlico Plumbers lambasted the mayor for his policies which he claimed were “the single biggest thing holding London business back” during a speech at the SME Expo.

Mullins said that while the capital was facing continued business challenges, such as a recession, a skills crisis, inflation, and lingering effects of COVID and Brexit “the Mayor Khan’s anti-traffic, anti-business bloody-mindedness is now strangling London to death.”
