Alex Burman wins Fix Radio’s Carpenter & Joiner of the Year award

Alex ‘the Valley Viking’ Burman stormed to victory in the Carpenter & Joiner category at Wednesday’s Fix Radio Tradesperson of the Year Awards. The carpenter had to beat of stiff competition from the highly commended in the category, Sammy Smith. The Carpenter and Joiner category, sponsored by Screwshop was one of the most competitive at the event. The Fix Radio Tradesperson of the Year Awards, which was held on day two of UK Construction Week in London, brought together shortlisted nominees from this year’s awards at a brief ceremony. In total Fix Radio gave away ten gongs covering the key building trades. “This year’s shortlisted nominees showcased the best of the UK’s trades – the winners have displayed an excellent portfolio of work that proves that UK tradespeople are the best in the world,” said Greg Wilson, head of content for Fix Radio.
