In short: Bolst is a UK tax app built for self-employed builders and trades working under CIS. Connect your bank, check your figures, and Bolst's tax team checks them again before sending your quarterly update to HMRC. Fix Radio listeners get £20 off with code BOLST20.
Fix Radio is on in vans, on sites and in workshops up and down the country. Bolst was built for exactly the people listening, so it made sense for them to be on air with us. If you've caught the ad and want the full picture, it's all below.
Self-employed contractors and sole traders in construction who are paid under CIS: groundworkers, scaffolders, sparkies, plumbers, chippies, joiners, plasterers, brickies and the rest of the trade. More than 40,000 people already use it.
If you earned over £50,000 before CIS deductions and costs, HMRC now wants an update from you every three months, not just one tax return at the end of the year. HMRC is moving people onto Making Tax Digital now.
Quarterly updates are due on 7 August, 7 November, 7 February and 7 May.
You check it, their tax team checks it, and it goes to HMRC without you lifting another finger.
