Footage has emerged of a fight in the stands at a college football game in Memphis over the weekend, which saw a bloke get knocked out cold by a firm right hand while protecting a girl in front of him. Tension was always going to be high with college football fans finally allowed back into stadiums for the first time since the start of the pandemic, but it’s not yet clear what caused this particular incident to kick off in the game between the Nicholls Colonels and Memphis Tigers. A man in a white shirt is seen throwing wild punches before finally gathering his feet and singling out the one person around him who seemingly didn’t want anything to do with a fight, except for protecting the woman in front of him. Chaos ensues with punches being thrown all over the place with plenty of pushing and shoving, with a number of people involved ending up on top of the unconscious man on the floor. Fortunately at the end of the video the victim is seen regaining consciousness, albeit with a heavily inflamed mark under his eye and blood on his face. Memphis ended up winning the game 42 - 17.
