"The police are aware and the Horsham District Council community team are assisting the police and the parks team who are responsible for the car park are on their way down to make it safe."

As is the case with most unusual news stories these days, after the image was shared on Reddit by a local resident, the story caught people’s attention all over the world - with hundreds of users finding the funny side to the situation and coming up with some truly great one line comments to sum up the situation.

One user said “I hope this doesn’t pave the way to more theft.”

Another added that this crime “May lead to a path of destruction.”

“Will nothing be done to curb this criminal behaviour?”

Alright that’s enough.
