Plumbing might not be rocket science but the opportunity to do work on a spaceship is probably the closest thing you could get to being able to put that refute that statement. On a recent mission, the crew onboard SpaceX Crew Dragon were lucky not be covered in urine after a pipe leaked for up to 3 days - with NASA plumbers coming to the rescue. As reported by Technotrenz, during the SpaceX shuttle’s most recent mission, a pipe attached to a zero-gravity space toilet reportedly came loose, causing four civilians to spend three days in orbit. Urine was sucked into a fan system and sprayed out of the toilet in all directions, according to reports. The leak resulted in an alarm being triggered, terrifying all those on board as they tried to work out what was wrong - with plumbers rectifying the issue once the shuttle returned to earth. It was critical the issue be fixed quickly, with another upcoming flight for the shuttle happening this weekend. (H/T Technotrenz)
