Dash cam footage has captured the moment a road rage altercation led to a tradesman in high-vis being ‘run over’ and allegedly having his leg crushed by a disgruntled driver. And what was the fight all about? Merging lanes…and who was going to let the other in. Footage shared on the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page shows the truck driver trying to merge into the lane on his right. The tradesman in the vehicle on the right refused to let him in, instead opting to stop his vehicle on the busy motorway entirely and is then seen getting out of his vehicle and confronting the man in the truck. A few expletives are thrown out between the pair as the tradie makes his way towards the drivers window of the truck driver, at which point he tries to accelerate and seemingly ‘runs over’ the tradesman who you can then hear screaming in pain and shouting “my leg, my leg, get off.” Watch the footage here: Why it's not worth arguing over petty crap on the roads.
