Former Apprentice Winner Calls for New Faces in the Trade

There’s no getting away from it - labour shortages represent a huge problem in the construction industry currently. With a combination of COVID & Brexit to blame, we’re looking into a black hole in terms of workers required by 2025. This could be a huge issue for the industry at a time where demand and the industry has never been so important to the economy – and it’s an issue that needs fixing. This was discussed on the Clive Holland Show earlier this week where he asked how we can inspire the next generation of tradespeople – he was able to catch up with Apprentice winner Joseph Valente. Joseph has had a longstanding passion for the trades and even won the show based on this – and he called for some brand new faces in the industry!
