Drunk Builder Gets #Bantz Tattoo Above Left Eyebrow. No Regrets

Posted: Monday, March 15th, 2021

A builder from West Sussex has described his #bantz tattoo above his left eyebrow as a “definite ice breaker”, with images of the ink emerging online and dividing opinion.

As you probably guessed, the story of how the tattoo came about and ended up on his face involved plenty of alcohol and a memorable night out for 25-year-old, Kieran Elliot-Moore.

Despite being turned down at first due to his level on intoxication, eventually he convinced the tattoo artist to go through with it and it only took a suggestion from a random woman to have the word #bantz tattooed above his eyebrow.

Speaking to the Mirror, Kieran, from Worthing, recalled the series of events "I was out having a drink and I knew I wanted another tattoo. The person refused at first, saying I'd had a few too many, but I said it doesn't matter if I was pissed - I have loads already. I want the ink.”

"No one could think of anything at the time, then some bird just cracked up and goes, 'What about bantz?’

"I thought, 'Well, why not make it #Bantz?' It just went from there, everyone was laughing.”

Now while to most of us it sounds like that scene in The Hangover 2 when Stu wakes up with a Mike Tyson tattoo on the side of this face - cue incredible panic attack - this builder from West Sussex loves his face tattoo and say he has no regrets about it.

Putting a positive and refreshing spin on the situation he said, "I looked in the mirror and thought, 'S**t, I forgot about that!' It's still my best tattoo to date, I love it.”

"Everyone has tattoos and people seem to get pressure for them to be serious”.

"You might as well get something that gives you a giggle.”

Pretty hard to argue with that?

The one negative he’s admitted too though is how it’s affected his current and future dating life as, understandably, it has the potential to be an immediate deal breaker.

"This is a definite ice breaker. When you're out and about, it's hard to read because it's in fancy writing and it makes it difficult for people to read when they're face-to-face with you. When someone asks about it, it's usually a good conversation starter.

"A lot of people think you're a d**k but it usually gets people laughing.”

"The only problem is, every bird you get with I hear, 'I don't know what my parents would think of it.’

"I have to be honest and do think I wouldn't be keen either. I wouldn't like me if I turned up with my daughter.”

What would you rather - #Bantz or the Mike Tyson?
