Valspar Trade has been running its college Tour across the 2024/2025 academic year, visiting a series of colleges across the UK to deliver its Colour Workshop. Following increased demand, the company has extended its tour with further college partnerships. Initially launched in 2021, Valspar Trade has visited ten colleges across the 2024/2025 academic year, all aimed at engaging the younger generation of painters and decorators. Delivered by the local Trade Sales Specialists (TSS), each visit includes a Colour Workshop and practical session, where students can get hands-on with the Valspar Trade paint. New for 2024/25, each college partnership will also include a donation of £500 towards an initiative of the college’s choosing, benefiting staff and students. Valspar Trade’s Colour Workshop is focused on providing students with a unique insight into paint and the use of colour. The workshop will cover the importance of choosing good quality paint, the impact of colour, and how to achieve a successful colour scheme and a professional finish. Valspar Trade will visit Bishop Auckland College next, followed by Glasgow Kelvin College, with more to be confirmed.
