Host John Roberts once again hosts award-winning twin brothers Alex and Will Pettitt who share what it's like to work with family, logistics, tools, products and their thoughts on the future of the trade. While they don't claim to have the supposed twin telepathy, Alex and Will have come to depend on each other after working together for four years. Alex says: "We know what our strengths are. Will is the more hands-on one, so he takes the lead landscaper role." "Alex focuses more on the design aspect, plants and project management. He also assists in anything I may need," Will explains. They also discussed tools. "We use Makita for our power tools. They've got a new disc cutter we like. Our oldest tool is a mattock [axe], which we acquired from our father," Alex notes. The duo firmly believes in continuous learning and training. "Will is currently undergoing a welding training session," Alex says. When it comes to the future of the trade, Alex reckons AI and robotics are the next biggest things for landscaping. "We have to accept technology, which is the way the world is going."
