On this week's Electrical Show, Thomas Nagy and guest Paul Meenan decipher the ups and downs of working as a partner in a trade business. The pair are joined by Charlie Kemp and Lewis Dowman, a couple of commercial electrical contractors who run Quadrant Electrical. Charlie took up an electrical apprenticeship after college, while Lewis followed his father's footsteps into the electrical industry. The pair went to the same school, and after gaining their electrical qualifications they worked in the same firm, before going their separate ways. But before long the pair were chalking out a plan to start a business together. "We both want what's best for the company. Having a partner in the business means you get to bounce ideas off each other, complement one another in the skills department and share the stress," they say. Listen to the full podcast here.
