The PDA donated over £500 worth of paint and decorating supplies to transform the Covingham Underpass, a dreary part of Swindon that needed some brightening. Dário worked with a group of young people from the Youth Justice Service looking to turn their lives around by re-engaging with the local community. The group was involved in the whole process, working with Dário on the mural design and execution. The design aimed to encompass a celebration of Swindon, including elements such as a steam train and robins in a nod to the football team. The overall aim of the design was to add some cheer and brightness to the lives of the commuters who regularly use the tunnel, thereby enhancing the local environment and community spirit. The whole process took weeks of planning and hard work, but the overall result received a very positive reception, validating the effort and creativity put into the project. Dário was thrilled with the project and said it was a complete joy to work on. The mural was unveiled just weeks before Swindon Paint Fest, a local street art festival Brewers have been thrilled to support for many years.
