Fabian Edwards admitted that without MMA in his life - he'd own a carpentry business due to his inability to work for people, Daily Star reported. The Bellator bruiser began training at 16 years old as he followed in the footsteps of his older brother Leon Edwards who is the current UFC welterweight champion. The 30-year-old returns to action on Friday (March 22) for the first time since his knockout loss as he takes on Aaron Jeffery where a win could see Edwards rematch Eblen for a second championship opportunity. Having been a professional MMA fighter since 2017, the Birmingham-raised Edwards revealed what he'd be doing in life if he didn't pursue combat sports. "I'd own some sort of carpentry business because I can't work with people," he admitted. "I can't, like, work for someone, so I'll own some sort of business doing something that allows me to have freedom. MMA is a mad way to live your life, the training, and the mental preparation. The physical preparation. It takes a lot to get ready for a fight. It takes even more to get into the cage."
