Joel Bardall and Todd Von Joel delve back into mural painting on this week’s Painting & Decorating Show. The lads are joined in the studio by Eloisa Henderson-Figueroa, a mural artist who has built a thriving decorating business creating bright, happy spaces in commercial and residential properties. Henderson-Figueroa moved into domestic mural painting once her work on block-buster movies and TV was put on hold due to COVID. After decorating her godmother’s extension she realised her passion for transforming rooms and outdoor spaces with murals could become a business. Henderson-Figueroa’s recent run of school jobs has also included running workshops for children. “I do lots of little assemblies and workshops with them so they can see there are different things out there once they leave school. Especially when they see it’s a women painting. They’re like ‘wow, we can do this too!’ and you can have a fun career out of it.’ This week's show follows last week's episode with with Marc Silver and Dave Nash from MurWalls.
