Tradespeople's lives are filled with rich work experience some great and some nightmarish - Andy Cam and Todd Glister talk about the worst plumbing mistakes they've made on the job on this week's episode of The Heating & Plumbing Show. Andy reveals that a nightmare moment he's had on the tools still makes him cringe. "I was invited to fix a job that a previous plumber had left mid-way through. It was a block of eight flats. We used the same plastic fittings he'd left behind and completed the job. It was spot-on. "A week later I received a call - every single one of those flats was flooded and the carpets were floating. It was horrible." For Todd, it's a job he once was doing for a builder who informed him that the water pressure was terrible. "They dug a trench and I saw a big lead main. I thought it was blocked somewhere, so I cut through the main lead. "In a few minutes, I saw all the neighbours walk out of their doors looking around asking each other if the water was off. It was then that I realised that it was the main lead for the street not just the property I was working on," he says. Working with other tradespersons can also be a nightmare. The pair read answers from their listeners who shared names of people they met who were an "absolute nightmare" to work with. Listen to the full show here.
