Fix Radio, the Builders Station continued to rapidly build its national audience, adding another 11,000 streamed listening hours and 20,000 streamed connections in August. The number of streamed listening hours on Fix Radio’s website had grown by 320% over the last year. “We’re building a national radio brand, and it’s great to see that each day we’re winning new listeners,” said Louis Timpany, CEO and founder of Fix Radio. “Our research shows that listeners that find us online or through the app soon transition to listening to Fix Radio on their DAB radios,” he added. August was also a bumper month for Fix Radio’s podcasts with over 18,700 downloads. Fix Radio is aiming to extend the reach of its podcasts through strategic agreements with industry partners, such as trade bodies, exhibition bodies, suppliers and merchants. “August also saw our single biggest day for downloads,” said Greg Wilson, head of content for Fix Radio. “We had over 900 downloads in a single day for the first time,” he added. August’s strong performance followed on from a record July.
