In the first 20 days since going national at the start of May, Fix Radio’s social media channels have seen record growth in traffic and engagement. The station’s Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram accounts have generated a combined 19 social media million impressions, over 4.5 million video views and nearly 1.68 million engagements. Total audience size across all channels grew by 7.9% to reach 55,000. Growth in engagement and impressions has been driven by several pieces of powerful content across the Fix Radio’s Instagram and TikTok accounts, and involving the station’s presenters, such as Clive Holland and the Bald Builders. “It’s been great to see such an uptick in our social media numbers since taking the station national,” said Greg Wilson, head of content, Fix Radio. “The growth of our channels has been building for some time thanks to the hard work put in by our social media and content teams. The spike in May comes at the perfect time as we head into summer as a national radio brand,” he added.
