Posted: Wednesday, April 27th, 2022
Fix Radio has released the shortlist for its Carpenter & Joiner of the Year Award, sponsored by Screwfix. The list of six woodworking wizards covers the whole range of work from site carpentry to detailed joinery.
“The individuals on the shortlist are all winners in my mind,” said Clive Holland, host of both The Clive Holland Show on Fix Radio (Monday to Thursday, 12-2pm) and the awards event.
“Fine carpenters and joiners are artists in my mind. The quality of nominations was very good,” he added.
The event, which will be held on 04th May, alongside UK Construction Week, will bring together tradespeople from across the country to celebrate the excellence in the construction trades.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming everybody back to the awards next week,” said Greg Wilson, head of content, Fix Radio.
“We’ve been away for two years due to COVID, so it is going to be a real pleasure to bring everybody together for this event,” he added.
Fix Radio will give away 11 awards across the evening, covering most major trades.

Alex Burham, Errioc Carpentry
