Would you render without proper equipment? Or apply just one coat of plaster? Or travel abroad for work? Chris Frediani and Bradleigh (Bradders) are joined by Joel Cooke, Jake Thackaway, and Blaine Gray to answer these and other big issues on today's show. Blaine's approach to plastering is nuanced. He would only apply one coat of plaster in a cupboard, but he insists on two coats for standard walls. When it comes to rendering without proper equipment, he thinks the risk is too high. “Too much can go wrong." Joel, meanwhile, would never do jobs for free, as a favour for friends and family. When it comes to travelling abroad for work, he says he'd "love to". With over 35 years of experience in the trade, Jack's decisions are grounded in practicality. He doesn't typically work nights, but if the compensation is substantial, he's open to the possibility. However, he says, no amount of money would entice him to take on a job if the customer was disrespectful during the quoting stage. Listen to the podcast here.
