Fellow roofers Shayd Farmery, Lawrence Robinson and Andy Jarvis disclose their funniest moments, people, cringy customer conversations, pranks, and cock ups with Danny Madden on this week's Roofing Show. Hand Cut Roof's Shayd Farmery shares funny incidents from his career. "We had a lad Nick work with us once and for some reason, he was obsessed with taking his clothes off on the roof. "He was at the highest point and was just covering himself with his tool belt. We pranked him by running off with his clothes and he was stuck there without his clothes. It was amazing. We even have a photo of it somewhere," Shayd chuckles. Lawrence Robinson from Lawrence Roofers recollects a few amusing memories. "It was a few summers ago that I was working on a project, a passing car honked at me and sped off. Within a few seconds, it was back. I went over and the driver asked me whether I do roofing. I noticed he was checking me out. "I maintained a professional decorum. Later that evening I got a WhatsApp image - a picture of him. It was so funny," he laughs. Passionate roofer Andy Jarvis was once pranked into going up a roof that had a wasp's nest. "I was told to go up and strip the tiles off. As soon as I started peeling out the tiles, it was like a cloud of wasps. I was stung around 17 times. The nest was so huge that the other lads got stung too." Listen to the podcast here.
