Host John Roberts is joined by landscaper and influencer Craig Ratty Humphreys who sheds light on his work, the early stages of his career, working with his son, his approach to jobs and social media. With over 700,000 followers on TikTok alone, Craig, popularly known for his 3D pavement designs, got into the paving trade at the age of 18. For 10 years he worked for others and at the age of 28 he went solo. Describing the work he takes on, he says: "I do patios, driveways, fencing, and walls. But my niche is driveways while my son, George does a bit of bricklaying. I've been lucky to pick and choose, we nearly fill the whole year with pavement jobs." Craig got onto TikTok after his daughter urged him to take videos of his work, which soon went viral. "In March 2020, I downloaded the app and uploaded a 20-second clip and in no time it got one million views." Thanks to his increasing online popularity, he's being invited to work in Saudi Arabia, Brazil and other parts of the world. Listen to the podcast here.
