The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) announced the launch of the Top 100 Most Influential Women in Construction Awards for 2025. Returning for the fourth year, the awards will continue to highlight the significant contributions of women in the construction industry and showcase women in the sector, making female and non-binary role models more visible and accessible. Nominations open today, Monday 3 March, and close Friday 6 June. Shortlists will be announced on Friday 4 July. Each category celebrates outstanding contributions to the construction industry, recognising leadership, impact, and influence. The independent judging panel consists of previous winners and industry heavyweights who understand the value of women being recognised by the industry, shining a light on their contributions, and demonstrating the opportunities the construction industry has to offer. To ensure a fair and consistent evaluation, judges will assess nominees based on five key criteria, including mentoring others in the industry and demonstrating exceptional leadership. The categories are: Deborah Madden, executive director, Nations Engagement at CITB, said: “We want to foster an inclusive and welcoming space that recognises and celebrates the achievements of all women within the construction industry, acknowledging the diverse experiences, contributions, and leadership that shape our sector. That is exactly what the Top 100 Women awards is all about.”
