A landscaper’s business has been “ripped apart” after thieves stole his truck, digger and all this tools.

Lee Lawry had come home sick last week, and for the first time left his tools and the mini excavator in his van. That night, the whole thing was taken.

CCTV footage from the neighbour's house shows four thieves break into the old transit van in seconds and take off with it around 11:30 that night.

Despite calling the police immediately, the thieves made a clean getaway.

The government has extended its investigation into anti-competitive behaviour of seven major housebuilders.

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) initially launched its probe in February in 2024, after a report indicated that house builders may be sharing commercially sensitive information with their competitors.

In a statement the CMA said it had “not reached a view as to whether there was sufficient evidence” of infringements to competition law.

An 83-year-old-bricklayer has completed an ultramarathon in under 12 hours.

South African bricky Johannes Mosehla broke his own record to become the oldest person ever to finish the 87-kilometre Comrades Marathon.

Mosehla, who has now run the Comrades ultramarathon 11 times, told Canadian Running Magazine that despite his age, he has no plans to retire.

The aging bricky runs three times a week, with sessions ranging from 5 to 32 kilometres.
