On today's Heating and Plumbing Show, Andy Cam and Todd Glister were put under the spotlight by some listener questions. Here are a couple of our favourites: Why did Andy pick plumbing out of all the trades, and what would you be if you weren't a plumber? Andy: "I became a plumber because I wanted to get a job, which was difficult at the time. I went on a course to get a job, and it was at my school - you went to work for a different company every two days. I actually did joinery first, but the last one was a plumbing company. They asked me if I wanted a job and the rest is history. "As to what I'd do if I wasn't I plumber, I reckon I'd be a fireman you know, I quite fancy saving people." "I'd be a wildlife photographer," says Todd. "I always quite fancied that, seeing animals in their own environments." How long did you work for yourself and how did you decide to go out on your own? Todd; "After I qualified I was proper grafting and I was literally on £4 a day. One day I went home, and my dad, who was a builder, said 'just get out there and do it for yourself' - and that was it. I didn't know I was ready, it was so scary when I first started out, but you just have to start somewhere. "The first time I was in someone's house I remember I was so scared, but here we are." Have you ever worked for anyone famous? Andy: "Oh yeh I worked for a footballer Emlyn Hughes, and he was quite famous at the time - he presented on A Question of Sport at one stage. I also worked at Chatsworth House, where the duchess of Devonshire lives. That was quite cool." To hear the full show, click below.
