AUDIO NEWS: BUS increased to £9k to replace oil and LPG boilers and humanoid robot starts on site

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme increased by £1,500, and a humanoid robot starts on site and a builder auctions off film memorabilia

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) has been raised to £9,000 for customers replacing oil or LPG-based heating systems.

The subsidy is available to homeowners looking to switch to a low-carbon system, such as a heat pump.

However, households looking to use the grant will still have to find a substantial amount of money.

The government estimates that the cost of making the switch could be as high as £20,000.
