Joel Bardall and Todd Von Joel are joined by builder and TV personality Craig Phillips who chats about his background in the trade, painting and decorating, the environment and winning Big Brother. Craig got into construction 34 years ago. "I started as a bricklaying apprentice at the age of 18. I got my City & Guilds qualification and set up my own business. "As a builder, I took on tiling, plastering, brickwork, carpentry, painting and decorating, and roofing contracts. By the age of 26, I was making £1 million in turnover and had over 30 tradespeople working for me." He also spoke about his experience with painting and decorating. "Although I've never learned the skill at college, I picked skills by working on the jobs. I'd generally get a good finish on the walls. But I had to work hard at it." Listen to the podcast here.
