The Good Builds superstore aims to complement CMO’s existing online stores by creating a retail destination where homeowners can find and buy everything they need for their projects, according to Builders’ Merchants News. Offering selected products to support specific projects and wider access to over 130,000 products, CMO’s latest online venture aims to provide homeowners with the confidence to go from project inspiration to basket in a seamless journey. As well as helping to streamline the buying process with the option to shop by product or by project, the new Good Builds website includes the option for customers to upload their project plans and receive individual and impartial guidance from the Good Builds team. This gives customers a choice of three shopping journeys so they can manage their project in a way, and at the time, to suit them. The Good Builds website will provide consumers with a variety of information, with users encouraged to open an account to keep track of their orders and enjoy faster checkout times. The site provides expert guidance on a variety of home improvement projects, with new content added monthly, and over 1,200 'inspirational' and ‘real life’ customer project images. Commenting on the launch of Good Builds Superstore, Nick Fisher, director of sales and customer service, said: “As the UK’s largest online-only builders’ merchant, we are constantly refining our service offering to better meet the needs of our evolving customer base. “Our successful superstore e-commerce sites are popular with both consumer and trade customers but with the changing needs of DIY and self-build market, we were keen to offer our consumer customers a more bespoke solution.”
