The Bald Builders, hosts of The Bald Builders Breakfast on Fix Radio, dropped in on the station’s Street Team on Friday morning and took part in the Toupret Challenge. The Street Team has been on the road with Toupret for most of the summer, visiting builders’ merchants, handing out breakfast, goodie bags and 5kg bags of Joint Skim & Fill. All visitors are given the opportunity to enter the draw with up to £10,000 worth of prizes, including £4,000 of garden equipment. Both Bald Builders – Brad Henderson and Sam Hughes – both took part in the Toupret challenge, where contestants must hold two 5kg bags of Joint Skim & Fill at arm’s length for as long as possible. Over the course of the summer over 1,1000 tradespeople have participated in the challenge. As well as taking part in the challenge, any tradesperson that meets up with the Street Team can enter the draw to win up to £10,000 worth of prizes, including a Big Green Egg BBQ, a Fatboy outdoor rocking chair, pizza ovens and outdoor electric heaters. “We’ve been on the road with Toupret all summer, this is your last chance to come down, say, ‘hello’ and claim your free 5kg bag of Joint Skill & Fill,” said Kasia Gorzycka, head of promotion, Fix Radio. “It was great to see the Bald Builders and pop down and visit us last week. Toupret is the current sponsor of their national breakfast show,” she added. Since the tour started at the end of March, the Street Team have given away 3,200 bags of Joint Skim & Fill and had over 1,700 signs up for the on-air competition. The tour ends on 29th July.
