The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) arrested three people in dawn raids last week, in connection to the construction of a Microsoft data centre. The SFO said it suspected individuals at infrastructure specialist Blu-3 of paying over £3 million in bribes to people linked with Mace Group. Over 70 officers searched four homes and one commercial property to seize evidence. Authorities in Monaco also searched a suspect’s premises as part of the joint probe. --- Over half of those working on electrical systems are wearing their protective uniforms incorrectly and putting their lives at risk, claims research from Alsico. Data gathered by the workwear brand suggests that only 40% of those working with electrical systems always wear their protective uniform. Over a quarter of respondents admitted they often just wore their own clothes to work, while 19% said they continue to do so despite being aware of the dangers it puts them in. --- DIY SOS is calling for tradespeople to help with its latest project, due to start next month in the Glasgow area.
