The race to find the UK’s fastest bricky got underway in April, with two regional heats of Super Trowel 2024.
In the first week of April, 17 brickies gathered at Hertford Regional College for the Southern heat. Another 12 competitors converged on Warrington & Vale College a week later for the Northern heat.
In total 12 finalists and their hod carriers will head to the Marshal Arena in Milton Keynes for the grand final on the 8th of August.
Last year’s champion Charlie Collison will return to defend his crown. Ashley Mahoney and Antoine Coevoet will challenge for the title again this year. They are joined by Phil Bachetti, Evan Habberfield, James Boydell, Tom Edwards, Liam Doherty, Dale Wherton, Tony Fairfield, Jack Sykes and Luke Collens.
Super Trowel 2024 promises to be a much larger event than last year’s edition, with 3,000 visitors expected on the day. The event arena will house 65 exhibitors showcasing a range of tools and accessories.
