The Apprentice of the Year winner will be announced on 16 April 2026 at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham
The training provider hosted an assessment day at JTL Birmingham for the Aico Community Awards 2026 – Apprentice of the Year category.
Electrical apprentices from across the UK put their knowledge and practical skills to the test as part of the awards process.
The assessment brought together some of the country’s most promising electrical apprentices, all competing for a place at the final stage of the awards.
The programme was an opportunity to showcase not only individual skill and dedication, but also the strength and quality of apprenticeship training across the sector.
Four JTL apprentices, Emily Simmons, Jack Brammer, Joseph Kelly and Chris Parnell, were among those taking part.
Shortlisted candidates will go on to attend the Aico Community Awards ceremony on 16 April 2026 at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham, where the Apprentice of the Year winner will be announced.
