Clarkson’s Farm Returns & The Pub Is In Trouble

Clarkson’s Farm makes its triumphant comeback but more challenges await for The Farmer’s Dog.

The big question on everyone’s mind is ‘when is Clarkson’s Farm returning on Amazon Prime Video?’ Well, after the success of The Hawkstone Farmers' Choir on Britain’s Got Talent, the classic British farming show returns to the streaming platform on the 3rd of June, 2026. 

While only 2 episodes will drop to begin with, throughout June, fans will get to see so much more of Clarkson’s journey in the fifth season of the show. While Season 6 has already been confirmed, what isn’t clear is what the long-term fate of The Farmer’s Dog will be, Clarkson’s iconic pub. 

The Farmer’s Dog In Season 5

Season 5 of Clarkson’s Farm has already received a teaser trailer ahead of its launch and it showcases the continued plight of the pub industry. Season 4 of the show previously showcased Jeremy’s plans to establish his own local. However, it seems that things haven’t been smooth sailing since the launch. 

The trailer establishes some of the plotlines of the season, including a group of unexpected visitors staying in the pub’s car park, the continued fight to get produce in the restaurant and Lisa Hogan's ongoing battle with the local council. 

The Farmer’s Dog

Of course, fans of the show who are in the construction industry will be pleased to see the return of The Farmer’s Dog, a pub that was established with the help of a team led by Alan Townsend. Season 4 of the show highlights the great lengths that Clarkson's contractors had to go through to put everything together for the pub’s opening day. 

From faulty electrics to troublesome plumbing, the pub faced its fair share of challenges and it’s almost certain that Alan and his team will have to step up and tackle yet more of these issues in the coming season. It’s estimated that Clarkson has already spent over £1 million attempting to address the original building’s construction faults, with a rear extension and a formalised car park added to the premises, alongside extensive renovation. 

So, while Season 5 of Clarkson’s Farm will continue to celebrate the hard-working farmers who put food on our tables, the show will also serve as a nod towards the building community too, who turn Clarkson’s absurd ideas into reality.
