This October, STARK Building Materials UK Ltd (STARK UK), a group of builders’ merchants and materials distributors, is opening its doors to businesses and individuals developing solutions that could benefit the trades and the wider building industry.
STARK UK provides products, solutions, and expertise to the building and construction sector through its businesses, which include household names such as Jewson, JP Corry, and Normans, as well as those supporting major house builders, social housing providers, and civils, utilities, and infrastructure companies.
The group is particularly interested in advances in building materials, construction methods, tools, and sustainable solutions that can help improve customer performance and productivity and reduce adverse environmental impacts on-site.
Ian Goldsmith, STARK UK’s Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer, says: “Your expertise and creativity play a vital role in shaping the future of our industry, and we want to ensure that our customers have access to the best ideas and solutions.
"If you have products, prototypes, or concepts that you believe could make a difference, I’d like you to get in touch, because together, we can deliver more value for our trade customers and help build a stronger, more sustainable UK construction sector.”
Interested parties should email Ian Goldsmith and his team at innovation@starkbuild.co.uk by 1 November 2025.
