Two fifths of van drivers report being regularly abused by other drivers, use of AI in project management skyrockets and Kyle Preston goes from roofer to All Black in a year
Two fifths of UK van drivers claim they’re regularly abused by other motorists.
In a poll of 1,000 drivers by Peugeot over half of respondents said they’d been sworn at, and a similar percentage said they’d been on the receiving end of obscene gestures.
Over a quarter also reported they’d been threatened with physical violence in the last year.
Although 80% of respondents said their shabby treatment was down to how van drivers were perceived, just 49% were adamant their reputation for being bad or aggressive drivers was unfair.

The use of artificial intelligence in construction projects has grown by 60% in the last two years — that’s according to research from the Association of Project Management (APM).
Three quarters of respondents to an APM survey said their organisation now uses AI in projects, compared with just 15% in 2023.
A further 25% of project managers added they planned to use AI in future projects.

A man who was working as a roofer just 12 months ago, made his debut for the New Zealand All Blacks last weekend.
Scrum-half Kyle Preston stepped off the bench and played 13 minutes in the win over the Springboks.
All Blacks boss, Scott Robertson said Preston’s meteoric rise was worthy of a movie.
