Nearly a third of tradespeople put mental health on the backseat in run up to Christmas, sales of building materials fall in London and Bellway team help Mission Christmas
Nearly a third of tradespeople are feeling burnout, as pressure mounts to complete work before Christmas.
A survey of 500 tradies by Jackson Woodturners, identified that many were putting their mental health on the “backseat” as they take on more work in the run up to the festive break.
The report by the staircase specialist claimed that nine in 10 tradespeople felt stressed, with over a third saying they felt stressed every week.
Lucie Levesley, director with Jackson Woodturners said December was especially tough for tradespeople as they juggled heavy workloads and tight deadlines with their own personal lives.
