Monster-Mesh encourages mental health conversations, a joiner builds a Greggs-themed bar in his backyard, and 200 workers protest violence against women
To encourage open conversations about mental health, Monster-Mesh has launched fence and barrier covers with scannable QR codes that connect workers to local support networks.
The firm also published research highlighting the mental health crisis on UK building sites, driven by physical exhaustion, tight deadlines and isolation.
The report, carried out in partnership with AndysManClub revealed that a third of outdoor workers have no access to employer-provided mental health support.
42% of workers also said they do not feel comfortable speaking with a manager, colleague or peer about mental health.
A similar figure commented that mental health was not taken as seriously as physical safety.
