Construction firms have been urged to review working practices as temperatures again soar past 30℃ in most of England.
The NHBC Foundation published a report urging construction professionals to reconsider long-held assumptions about predictability, seasonality and site safety.
The report warned that if the industry fails to adapt for the evolving climate, it will face delays, material failures, insurance losses, higher build costs and greater risk to worker welfare.

TradeKind, which launched last month, provides local firms with another way of reaching clients without subscriptions, lead charges or commission.
The site’s founder, Neal Drummond, came up with the idea after seeing how difficult it was for good tradespeople to remain visible to new customers.
