Despite increasing awareness around mental health, 62% of roofing contractors won't discuss it with their co-workers, a plumber stands for the Greens and volunteer tradespeople needed
Over 60% of roofing contractors still won’t discuss their mental health with their co-workers, despite growing awareness about the issue.
In the research from tile specialist Marley, two thirds of roofing contractors also claimed they realised they needed to do more to support their own mental health.
Overall, 80% of roofers said they were more aware of their mental health than a few years ago.
But 70% of those polled hadn’t received guidance, training, or support for mental health and wellbeing from their employer.
Dan Redfern, head of marketing for Marley said the research highlighted the importance of continued focus on mental health.
