Why We Do Jobs For Free...
The Heating and Plumbing Show
Wednesday, 24 June 2026 - 29 minutes
Andy Cam and Todd Glister talk to Carl Wilson from Jobsa Gooden Plumbing who kindly refused payment from a vunerable customer who had been ripped off by cowboys. Carl also shares his journey into the trade after a great playing career in non-league football and Carl explains how he had to learn to read and write while also learning the skills of a Plumbing & Gas Engineer. Andy and Todd also talk about times they've done bits for free, whether it can be irresponsible to make it a habit and when you should and shouldn't charge people.
